OMBRE DAL LUPERCALE
(Shadows from the Realm of the Wolves)
Ombre dal Lupercale (Shadows from the Realm of the Wolves) was a part of the Teverenterno project, a nightlong series of seven site-specific works projected on the embarkment wall of the Tiber river on June 21st, 2006 from dusk to dawn.
The installation involved ideas around the theme of the she wolf who nourished Romulus and Remus in Rome's history.
Masha Vasilkovsky collaborated with filmmaker Maureen Selwood to make this work.
The sound track was composed by Alvin Curran.
This multimedia event was directed by Kristin Jones and produced by Gaia Cianfanelli.
